Well I'm a bit chuffed today!

Got the week off work so I decided to get to work on my car. Among the jobs was an M50 manifold swap. A friend of mine swapped his 325 motor for a 3.2 M3 engine so he gave me his M50 inlet, nice!

Went to fit it today... turns out my car already has one fitted! LOL!!

    So, that's that job 'done'!

Just to decat and fit new wheel and bride seats now!

Is it worth a remap after I decat to make the best of it? Don't think I'm going to tune this engine any further after this, as it's old and high mileage so it's getting replaced next year

Any help or cheap bolt ons/chop offs I can do would be much appreciated too!

    Cheers,
    Steve

Sorry guys I think by the amount of PMs I've had it looks like I've mislead you - which wasn't my intention. I don't have a manifold for sale/swap, I've given it back to my mate as he only gave it to me as a favour because we didn't think I had one. I've asked him if he wants to sell it but he'd prefer the engine goes complete.

Sorry for any confusion guys :(

What year is the car and how many miles has the engine done? Might be worth getting the injectors flow tested and cleaned. If the spray pattern is wrong and they're clogged up you wont be getting the best MPG or performance as you should be.

It's a 1997 328 with 140k and nikasil liners. Did the injectors and fuel filter when I got it, along with new oil/filter and gearbox/diff fluid change.
