    Hello All!

Shortly I'll be joining the BMW revolution as I'll be placing my order for a brand new 330d m sport (exciting times). I've got pretty much everything sorted but can't make up my mind about the wheels. For those that haven't looked the choice is between the 18's (400 M) and the 19's (403 M)

on the BMW website the computer image clearly shows the 19's looking better imo but in real life I think the 18's may have the edge. As a rule of thumb I agree with the vast majority that would say bigger is better in terms of aesthetics but the 18's may look better with having less spokes.

So just to be clear - I'm not asking people whether you think 19's are better than 18's in general - I'm very much interested in everyone's opinion between the two options here.

I guess there are factors such as weight, fuel efficiency, ride quality, price etc but I think on this occasion it may be down to what looks best.

help me out with this guys, I'd always value the opinions of seasoned BMW'ers!. for those giving your opinion it would be helpful if you also said where you'd seen the wheels (i.e. own, seen close up, seen on BMW website etc).

    Thanks in advance.

I think you've answered your own question. The 19's will undoubtedly look better but you will sacrifice some ride quality over the 18's.

I drove a 320d with the 20in (405 I think?), to be honest - even around potholed B roads of Wiltshire - they performed reasonably well. Go with whatever makes you happy.

yeah I saw the 'performance edition' of the 320d with the 20's, that did look sweet.

i'm not questioning the ride quality it's a question of which wheel looks better because they are 2 different styles.

i'm asking for peoples opinions on the style of the wheels.
