    Sounds good.

    What sort of mileage is on the car. Seems as though after a few more miles the engine will loosen up and give a few more hp.

    There is no such thing as generic or custom on a diesel remap apart from the cost

    210bhp is what I set the map to give and this is what i see all day long on the dyno.

    Ok, I have to ask as I am a bit perplexed....

    How does a 120d / 320d get to be remapped to (nearly) the bhp of a stock 530d (218 or 230 bhp)????

    So if I did not get my 530d remapped and we were to, theoretically drag race on a private road, it would be neck and neck for a while with a remapped 120d / 320d and a stock 530d???

    How does that work I am confused. Red

    You are correct. If you take Slowtechs car that I remapped earlier this year ( I think) He did some speed tests with the I-Phone App, Dynolicious.

    You can see the 0-60mph before and after the remap. I set the power on the 320d to 185bhp to 190bhp which is about the same as the 184bhp 330d. If you look at the times they are about the same as a 3.0d 184bhp version

    Mmmmmm well i must have been totally robbed then eh

    either way iam happy with the final result, map, before and after rolling road results for £299, i didnt think was to bad.

    Also ive came from having fast jap cars (300bhp Impreza's and a 400bhp evo) and from experience, 2 of the same cars mapped can give slightly different bhp figures, so i guess my 204bhp aint bad considering it was only 156.7 before the map.
