    I've never decatted a diesel or changed the exhaust, so without thinking about flow and basing this purely on sound, whats your thoughts ?

    You got to be careful with deisel exhausts because they rely on back pressure etc.....

    Doubt you'd get a four pot diesel sounding any good. But there's some nice sounding six pots out there. Check out YouTube quite a few videos of e46 330ds with some nice exhausts

    Best exhaust for a diesel is none, just straight off the turbo. Back pressure just slows the turbo spinning up.

    Best sounding diesel car I've heard was a KAHN? Modified V8 diesel range rover sounded sweet! Real grumbly grunty angry V8 sound

    lucky for me I have 6 cylinders then never thought of looking on youtube to be honest, not something I thought anyone would bother posting but then again if iy sounds good why not

    I love the sound of a petrol 6 or more pot engine, but yeah even a perkins diesel can sound awesome
