ok I have decided I am keeping the car, I want to lower it so it sits nicer on the M sport alloys, think its about 40mm I want to drop it by, now I can get Eibach springs for £150ish but that's a set 40mm drop, what if I want it a little higher or lower so I did a search for coilovers and found I can get a cheap set for around £200 mark, I am not going to use it for performance (117bhp wow that's land speed record setting) so its a purely visual thing, I think it was ProSport the brand and wanted to see any-one has slung them on before and what they thought.

'only' 40mm wouldn't do much good to standard shocks though. If it were me lowering that much I'd get different shocks as well? Or just coilovers, although I have absolutely no experience with ProSport, sorry.

Cheap coilovers are no good go for h+r or eibach spring and shock set up that way it will handle properly and ride better than oem neither of which it will do on cheap coilies.
