    Hi guys,

I see a lot on the US BMW forums that a popular mod is the ebay performance header (or exhaust manifold to us brits) - see link: STAINLESS STEEL T304 RACING MANIFOLD HEADER/EXHAUST BMW E46 E39 Z4 V6 2.5L 3.0L | eBay

    1. anyone know if they are any good?
    2. anyone tried to fit them on a rhd? steering column may foul???
    3. is there a european dealer as $154 delivery is a little pricey (although not too bad considering the distance!)

they will work fine for a few months and give a little bhp increase then after a few more months they will crack as they are not able to cope with the heat

Hey hey we americans too call them exhaust manifolds.
it's just the lazy americans (about 85% of us) that call them headers
so anyway, i've seen the exhaust hold up fairly well on a buddies car i met at a car meet. He said he'd been running catless with his ebay headers and straight DPs all the way to the tips.
