Has anyone got any data on performance increases (e.g. BHP) from the various air filters / induction kits and exhaust systems out there?
Exhaust-wise; I've been looking at the Scorpion boxster and twin pipes, plus Milltek and Remus cat/backs. Induction - was thinking Pipercross or K&N...
hey toni...av got a 330ci 2004 plate...recently had it re-mapped..£275..very minor diference in power...as for induction kits..fitted a simota ramair induction kit(gruppe m replica)allegedly the best ther is...lost power!!am back too factory fitted filter...also on advice av recievd from a guy i know who builds stainless steel exhausts for rally cars etc..unless your exhausts givn you problems..dont touch it!!330s already hav stainless pipes and he reckoned for £400-£600 youd be lucky too see a 2-3bhp increase...not evn noticable!!ive been assured by people who REALLY know the 330 engine and exhausts etc are the most powerful and trustworthy next too your m3s etc!hope this helps make your mind up..take it easy..
