The panther.... have you looked at other induction kits? Or read reviews about the k and n gen 2 kit? From what I have read they arnt ment to be that good... if ypu think the price of a good remap is about 275 sometimes 250 that 225 to 250 quid to spend on a better quality induction kit.... just a thought that's all

That's what's been recommended by the BMW mechanic I use -- he tunes cars with them and puts them on the rollers and has seen a good increase in power.
I trust his experience really. They are £330 at the absolute top end of induction kit prices. Gen 1s were meant to be crap but these are proven as the real deal apparently

I'm here for a good time not a long time

The car is an every day car. The chap has a Z3M for shits and giggles, he just asked me if there was anything simple make the road car less mundane, was wondering what people had tried and tested to save arsing about. Stuff like engine changes, head work etc is a bit ott

It's amazing what the likes of K&N charge for a bit of aluminium pipe, some 1mm thick carbon sheet to make it pretty and a bit of cotton and mesh lol.

Thanks for the suggestions so far
