    Hi everyone,

Thinking about getting an air intake/induction kit for my 323i. Any suggestions or recomendations??

Not really expecting much BHP gains, was just thinking it might make a better noise, maybe help the throttle response slightly and help it pick up a little better lower down the rev range.

Seen some mixed responses on other threads.

    Any responses welcomed.

    Darren

your not going to get much with fitting an induction kit so unless you just want the noise go for a Pipercross replacement panel air filter

But if you want an induction kit go for this

Not sure induction kits work that well, the same applies to cone filters etc. Most car manufacturers standard filter boxes are pretty well designed hence why going the route of a K&N exchange panel filter (or something similar) probably works a little better.

I read or watched something (can't recall which) where an Impreza had to be remapped in order for the ECU to recognise the new high flow filter and performance exhaust, prior to the remap they were working against the car actually dropping the stock BHP on the rolling road.
