    What is a cheap way to get more hp out of my 1.8 8v as im got seen off by a diesel audi a3 1.9tdi and the shame is too much to bare.......

    There is no cheap way TBO.
    Best thing to do is to have a bigger engine dropped into it if you want a real increase...

    If you just want 'a bit' more power then a remap and free flowing exhaust is worth doing....

    But £ per hp is not great..

    Worth a try but I can't see the crowd jumping at this opportunity

    Personally I'd sell it and get a bigger engined version. Would save hellluva lot of time and money.

    i thought a remap was a cheap mod compared to some stuff that can be done

    Well to be honest if you guys all think a new 2.8 is the way to go then i might as well sell my baby and buy the bigger one, still i would miss this car it's fun in the wet............
