what are they around 170bhp standard? Speak to one of the forum vendors, one of the most cost effectiove ways is to go for a remap

    A 2.5lt or 3.0lt engine!

But on a serious note your gonna have to spend quite a bit of cash to see 200bhp from that engine.

    For example

    £250 Simota airfilter - +5bph
    £450 Full s/s exhaust system - +5bph
    £400 Fast road cams - 15-20bhp
    £250 Remap ECU - 15bhp

These are rough estimates after have a quick look online but you get the idea.

    airfilter 5bhp?
full exhaust at £450, might just lose you hp, bmw exhausts are nearly the best you can get
fast road cams 8bhp if lucky, but need the remap and it will destroy the smooth ness of the straight six
    remap 6bhp real world.
only way to get good hp is a supercharger, or £500 2.8 lump that is a straight swap.
there is talk of inlet restrictions and using 3l inlet, but i have yet to see any supporting evidance of rr print outs before and after to believe this. the 323 has been out for 12 years and still no proof. tells its own story i think. just look at the e36 323, many, many rr print outs of the inlet swap on them.

also you might want to stay clear from filters that need oiling as it could get onto your maf

so the ones i found upto £100 are quickshift and powertec

also you can get a throttle booster http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...sub_category=1

All figures quoted are from the manufacturers websites

    Best advise so far!

if you still doing upgrades get power vavle boost and sprint booster and remap ecu and fast road cams if you able to

also if you get vavle boost change injectors to performance ones
