    Hi all
    As per the title i wanted to know if it was possible to put the twin turbo setup of the e60 535d
    Onto a e39 530d
    Are the engines the same ie manifolds ect
    What would i need to do the converion and how hard will it be and how much will it cost rough end

    don't bother mate it is a total waste of time and money. it would cost you thousands. they will have different manifolds, the engine will be different as will the internals as its an engine built for big power. the ecu would need playing with a lot not to mention all the fabricating to get it all to fit together. don't damage the e39. if you want more power with good mpg then sell the sludger and buy an e39 540. a set of exhausts and no diesel in the world will sound as good as that power plant of a v8. Add lpg and you will not know the difference in running costs. and if you must you can always supercharge it. a nice 360+ bhp.
