    Hello forum members. I am wanting to change the induction kit on my M3 from standard to something elts. I have been looking at the simmola induction kits. Just wondering what people have put on there cars and what they think to them?

    Sorry it is a Simota kit I have been looking at. The dave f one looks like a k&n.

    which ever one you pick you will need a heat shield or it will down on power also you will not see any power gains just a nice induction roar unless you have a remap

    Some get rid of the air flow sensor. For that apparently you do need the ecu mapped. Have you seen how much the sensors sell for! It would pay for the induction kit! £280 new

    Got a K&N filter on mine - put together by me... No heat shield on at the moment getting one fitted soon!

    and it has increased power at 3000RPM - I used the Dave-F Filter and thats it... RU-2590 - and Samco and Green pipes... 80mm

    Devil, im thinking of doing the same thing, where did you get the pipe from?
    ive found all of the other bits on ebay but dont know the angle and length of the pipe etc

    Did some testing on a standard 3.0 m3 years ago on a dyno dynamics and simota and Dave f both added extra 10-13bhp to the car
