Aswell as the diff I've just fitted Coilovers, M3 Brakes, goodridge lines, full powerflex bushes front and rear, Z3 rear and M3 front reinforcement plates and a carbon fibre front strut brace.

    Should be interesting indeed.

Oh, bear in mind final drive ratios when picking a diff, lower numbers = more top end. Higher numbers = more acceleration with less top end. The 323 has a 2.93 as standard. My diff is 3.15, which is the same as the M3. Tbh, I'd have gone higher, but I was struggling to find decent diffs.

with the m3 brakes did the standard hub take the new discs and carriers? as im thinking of upgrading this in the future too as have few small plans for my bimmer and like the extra stoping power

No, sorry, I used the M3 hubs and master cylinder aswell. The will NOT fit standard hubs. The E46 330 setup will bolt straight to E36 non-M hubs though.

I think all the coupe's had M-Sport suspension? May be wrong though, but the Non-M3 hubs are different, regardless of what suspension they are bolted to. :(

It too me a while to find a decent diff as well. I didnt want to lose any acceleration so used the 3.0M3 diff which was the same ratio as my 325.

There should be a metal tag on the r/h top diff case bolt. This should give the ratios. Your 2.8 will be a 2.93 diff the same as marks. I would be looking for a 3.15 or slightly higer if you can find one...

PS Sorry for the off topic MarkF....
