    I was just going to start a thread along this vein, what mods can you do to a vert to minimise the scuttle shake ?

    The top strut brace only makes a very minor difference mate, the x brace underneath now that makes a massive difference. I drove with it removed after putting in my new clutch just for a quick blast and the front end felt very loose, didn't think that a small amount of metal could make such a big difference.

    When the roof is down on mine I get little to no scuttle shake and the car feels more solid something that I can't explain

    Mine is the same, with hood and all windows down it feels great but with windows up and hood down it's the worst.
