Can anyone recommend some strut braces for a 328 vert please as I can see loads on e-bay etc. and prices seem to go from £20-£200.

I am sure the £20 ones are just a bit of bay bling but I want something that will function as intended.

It's actually the other way around, The expensive ones can be wasteful showing off gear.
There isn't any hidden technology, it just needs to be a strong bar so you don't need to spend a lot as there will be no difference in performance.

    Anyone got the £20 ones?

THIS is the one I am contemplating as it look sturdier and straighter than some others - thoughts?

If you get a cheap one make sure it has the 3 shapes in the tower bits?
Hard to explain, nxt to each bolt/nut is a raised bump, if the brace dont have this the said poor brace will sit up of the tower and do nothing except stress the shocker top mounts/bolts!
I got one from HK and it was complete shi@, ended up takin it scrap man!

They are kind of pointless on a convertible as they have the x beam fitted to them as standard so a strut brace will do bugger all.

Errr, maybe they have (I know that mine has) - but I could tell when I removed mine to do some maintenance then drove it whilst it was removed... More scuttle shake and felt a bit like a wobbly jelly...
