My question here is , has anyone had problems with bad idle and missfire after this exhaust change? Car runs fine and smooth when hot , but when cold it runs bad sometimes.
I have the stupid problem of using the 25i IAT in the 28i wires ... anyone did the swap to the correct sensor and can tell what happen?
I had a bit of a shitty idle when I first did this but after re setting the adaptions it was ok, I wanted to try and use the m3 sensors but never managed to find out what type of sensor they where and what wires were what. I still believe this to be a good mod for the 328i.

Gutted I had to sell the car really as I would have gone for a cam swap after.

    Here's pembo's (e36 coupeforum)
e36 328i with m50 manifold,m3 evo headers and full system made 250 after removing the standard air box as it was holding the power back
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362791297.986310.jpg
Standard air box is good for up to 235bhp remap and m50 manifold needed to get to 235bhp
It had a rough idle till we remap the car to suit the mods

t1000's car still managed to break the 260bhp barrier with out the manifolds or exhaust system, he just had a mongoose rear section. thats impressive!! and this was done in 2006, I assume that theres been alot more development and learning of the maps since then too as stated by Jason there was alot more room for improvement too

Does anyone know if t1000 had the car mapped again after his supersprint decat section and m3 manifolds fitted? what the results were? I know his target was 100bhp per litre!

I was the tuner who tuned it to 263bhp in jan 2006 after the last tuner got 145bhp

He then took it to another company who said they could get more from it if they tuned it on there dyno dynamics rolling road

They looked at what I did and said I did a great job and could not do any better and thanks for letting read the mod file

They then had 328i making 250bhp

The thing is i left loads of room for more out of this car

T1000's car has a new home these days and I last drove it was today

so the standard manifolds and centre section of a 328i exhaust system can flow enough for the engine to achieve in excess of 260bhp with the correct mods i.e. us m3 cams?

Im looking forward to Saturday Jason. It will be good to meet you and to see what my engine is capable of.

Out of interest how was T1000's car when you drove it? still as livley? its the only 328i i know of in the uk thats got basic mods and achieved those power figures!

    T1000 328i still drives well

When it made the 260bhp I'm shore it had decat pipe

I've got some m3 headers to go back on to it so I can finish the tuning

Hi Guys. I'm new here. I just bought new e36 M3 headers. I'm driving an 328i (m52b28) e36 and wanted to ask if the M3 headers fit perfectly to the block or need additional adjustments, to connect it to the mid section i understand that some adjustments has to be made, but to the block is it fitting perfectly. Thanks in advance.

    Update:
here is dyno with m50 manifold , m50b25 TB , stock paper air filter ,clutch fan out and the exhaust as in the pictures before

    DynoPowa.jpg
Dyno with remap has a flat torque from 3000rpm to 5000rpm but we had trouble with the dyno but was more less 250hp.

Dyno before with only m50 manifold was 218hp in the same dyno.

Car runs fine , it ran fine from the first start and drives great. I also installed a wideband for proper tuning. Here is a vid of if idling:

And another one with the micro on the exhaust.

Next mod is a better air filter , KN 57i probably and after that US M3 cams.
