I know this sort of thing will have probably come up time and time again but...

Is there much point on fitting an induction kit to a 328? I have heard people talking of adversely affecting bhp. Further, there are really expensive kits, and really cheap ones. Probably a rhetorical question, but does that matter?

    Advice gratefully received.....

If you are going to fit one you should fit one with a heat shield to keep the hot air out, if you are interested then speak to Apina527 as he knows about them well http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/member.php?u=11349

He can also sort you out with a inlet manifold upgrade
