    Hi all,

I'm in the process of building my own Dave F style induction kit, well, when I saw in process I mean I have made a cardboard template for the heat shield.

I'm going to use the same filter as Dave's kit clicky

Looking at photos I'm going to need a metal pipe to go into the inside of the filter, which has an inside diameter of 102mm, and then a hose to run from the MAF to the filter pipe.

What I'm struggling with is the hose to run from the MAF to the filter pipe. The outside diameter of the MAF is 81mm, by my measurement (M52), so I'm thinking I need a reducer hose to have an inside measurement of 81mm one end and 102mm the other?

Am I right in thinking this or is there another option?

Not done anything like this before so the answer may be simple

Any input appreciated...apart from 'just buy a Dave F kit etc'

    Cheers
