evening guys have got a couple of questions regarding my bmw.

as im looking for some more power out the bmw and i will be replacing the engine. my 2 questions are.

    1) what options do i have for a lightweight flywheel? ive done some research and read about the 325 single mass flywheel which can then be lightened but with this i would need to know which clutch to use and whether it would be a straight forward swap

    2) i plan on doing the m50 manifold swap. i know bmw ecus have the feature where they cna adjust to changes however if mines already been remapped will it still have that learning feature built in?

cheers for the replies but theres really not much on the net for this so next best place was to ask here
    regards adam

I dont know about fly wheels but I imagine that even though you have had your ECU remapped it will still benefit form the breathing mod of the m50 manifold

So you can get a 325i fly wheel lighted but a popular mod is a M20 flywheel using a e30 325i clutch.

If you do the manifold conversion i would get a remap.
