hey guys just wondering if it will affect my car having the exhaust from front 2 pipe into single pipe? Went to have exhaust fabricated for my car and said they would do it this way with decat but I wasnt to sure as it originally twin pipe so left to ask on here. They were going to make it a 3'' bore to back box from downpipes? will this be ok or better looking for twin system? Thanks for any info

I always advise people considering exhaust changes to stick with reputable brands that have spent thousands on designing exhausts specifically for your vehicle.

These exhaust fabrication companies don't really appeal to me because you never know exactly what experience this person has. Trust me, I was nearly sent on a course and I know people that have gone on the course

    Good Luck

keeping the dual system would be better as 2 2.5inch pipes form the fron tto the back is a total of 5 inch and for the cost of doing a custom exhaust you can buy a E36 evo exhaust and bolt it on

I dont believe you will get much of a gain from the m3 exhaust, it may be a little bit more free flowing but its very heavy.

I had an M3 rear box welded to 328i pipes on my 325. The rear box is not a direct bolt on but the complete M3 system from the manifolds is a direct fit. TBH I had mine decatted at the same time so cant really say if there were any gains from the M3 rear box as I did it for the looks....
