fitting the M3 system is a waste of time and money i fitted a full evo system to my 328 and it made it rubbish to drive lost alot of low down tourqe also was very dissapointed with it,it did sound great but there was ZERO performance gains with this mod and the manifolds are complete nightmare to fit also takes a very very long time to get them on properly

That is correct but like all BMW cars when you change the headers (exhaust manifolds)you need to remap the car to suit
Most tuning companies have problems doing this

jason didnt you say that t1000s 328 was shite after fitting evo manifolds and actually lost power as did mine

also the m3 system is much much heavier than a standard 328 system, personally i feel my 328 with same mods as my previous bar the zorst system is much better albeit i didnt have it remapped

if i could have had the engine out it would have been a canter but obv this wasnt practical i had to remove the steering linkage to get the m3 manifolds into place but even still it took fookin ages and done my head in needless to say i was livid after realising that it was a waste of time after!!

There were options for a while, and standard on 328i Sports, up until BMW swapped the LSDs for ASC traction control instead.

    Yes it did on t1000's
But it was not remapped for the manifolds that's why

I now have this car and will be fitting m3 manifolds to it then tweaking to suit
