Hi all first real post on here

Looking to upgrade my e36 touring

    Not expecting silly bhp gains

    Just want a little more

Seen a chip on eBay claiming 193bhp

Currently got a scorpion backbox and a venom air filter

    Cheers

Get a full scorpion system to unleash full power
    M50 inlet manifold conversion
    Quality panel filter
    Good service
    Remap by a forum vendor

Your looking around 200 bhp there

    Agreed.

M50 is essential, decent filter / heat shielded induction. Remap. 200ish horse right there.

Then I'd look at exhaust, M3 cams, Nitrous?

Friend of mine, put M50 manifold, and backbox, but standard air filter and had 187HP , I read somewhere, that good decent air filter and a upgraded exhaust will give you nice figures with M50, if you tune Intake you need to tune exhaust to.

friend has 328i and just Manifold, Dave F and scorpion exhaust got 224HP.

Do not go even close those chips.
I'm in e36 club in Ireland, so many of mine friends tried few stuff.
Guy who has 328i tried some chip from Ebay, paid 90euro, and guess what, nothing happened, even lost few Torque. waste of money.
