    evening people

ive just had my 318 converted to a 2.8 lump. ive done the standard mods like shortshift, m50 manifold , bbtb, silicone elbow ( if that adds enythink)???, air-filter not CAI and a remap along with the 2.8 vented disks all round.

Also a lsd in the next couple of weeks. Now this is were i get lost, i have no idea on what diff(lsd) to get??
Been looking around and and m3(3.0) diff keeps popping out but i no the 2.8 has a smaller ratio if that make a difference which 1 should i go for????

There's a few more mods i want to do like:-

    exhaust(miltek,down pipe back)
cams (which ones should i go for)
    engine pulleys (do they work)
    bigger leads and spark plugs
where would be the best place to go for profomance parts??

i need advise and tuning tips really on were to go next with my car.

with regards to the mods ive done what kind of power figure we talking. (At the wheels)

thanks for the help before hand to

    dan

    no BHP increase for these
with what you have done so far you should be at 230-40 BHP

US M3 cams give 20 BHP on the 2.8 but are rare
but after market should get you close to that

i i have a bmw e30 1994 touring 316i i just bought in noverber, i have just put it on the road 1st march i dont use this everyday, just when the weather is good so that means i have not been out much,i had it out 2 or 3 weeks ago and it has a misfire at about 85mph also the rev counter does'nt work ,when the car gets to 85 the rev counter jumps up to about 5 and 6 rpm , at 85mph it like it does'nt want to go any faster, its nice and smooth to this speed, as soon as you lift of the gas it goes back to smooth.i have had timing belt done timing spot on ,its had new plugs, leads, dis cap,and rotar arm all done but its still the same. i was just wondering if anyone knows or has had this problem cheers george
