    Would the M50 inlet manifold upgrade kit be useful in improving engine's fuel economy? Opinions welcome.

    i dont think it would .more air = more fuel .but more powe means less of a heavy foot to get the car moving ?

    No, it won't improve fuel economy, but it certainly won't harm it if driven the same.

    I have fitted the m50 manifold to my 328, i didnt notice a loss of torque as most people say they do, but gained loads of BHP high up in the revs, i do 4 miles each way to and from work and always get 30mpg even with the M50 conversion. Its a well worthwhile mod.
