Can anyone offer a little advice please on any probs i may have on my next project,i want to remove original cats from manifolds and bottom cats on my m5 and then replace them with 2 150 cell race cats at the bottom of the system,as i work at an exhaust manufacturer the pipework should not really pose a problem, the only thing i am a little concerned about is that the lambda sensor wires will have to be extended,in doing so will i have problems with this in such that i may lose signal efficiency, any advice would be much appreciated.

what i always wonder about de-catting is..
do you put them back on when you go for MOT?

sorry i'm not at any help, never touched cats before..
