    They made a restricted inlet manifold. All down to German insurance laws.

    true, but it was only on the M52 engines, not S50/52, and only the manifold was restrictive, not the airbox.

    so, back to were we started (the ad): impossible to squeeze 15bhp out of an M50/M52 when an M3 manages to squeeze only 12, don't you think? i mean, for real, i have headers, de-cat track pipe, chip, K&N panel filter and only managed to gain 18bhp out of a sound M50B25. and he's not even claiming those gains out of a M52B28, it's "for all 6 cylinders"..

    No i agree would struggle out of a M50/M52. What chip you running?

    it's made by a friend, in romania. so some sort of no-name, but does the job pretty good.
