    i know its rebuilt, i said its stock displacement as in still a 2.6. ill see if i can find the engine specs.

    That M5 is 1200bhp, using a 3.8 engine I think I6.

    I'm going to Gatebil on a driving tour, I'll get pics and plenty of vids! Can't wait!

    Mooser: very good point about how the cars come down in price and knob heads get hold of them.

    Sadly happens to all cars, but you will find that in 5 6 years time them cars will start going up in price when they are rare as rocking horse poo!

    Mk2 XR2 for example, used to be hundreds around being ragged and cheap... now they are hard to come by, and most around going for £1000 plus for a half decent one

    old fords in general are appreciating. try to get a good series 1 rst for less than 4k.
    one of the head gaskets went on my 2.8i capri in '98 and i gave it to a mate cos it was worth about 200 quid. the rest of the car wasnt bad either and look at what they make now.

    in general most performance or rare cars will depreciate to a point where the numbers lessen and good ones become hard to find and then prices will start to increase.

    325tds until i finish the skyline...........but i do quite like the tds!!!
