    Does anyone know if this has been done before?Im looking into tuning my m3 and am considering many options such as supercharging/turbo charging the current engine. Any ideas welcome

    Oh indeed it has

    A good friend of mine has an E36 coupe that is Cosworth Powered

    You will need VERY deep pockets for this conversion

    Unfortunately he does not use the forum at the moment

    supercharge you M3 eninge and get about another 100hp out of it...........

    WHY would you want to put a ford engine in a BMW

    Stick a super charger on it for godsake

    its just hard trying to find a supercharger kit for it. plus i miss the kick a turbo gives u!never been in a car with a supercharger so will have to try one first!

    I've always said exactly the same

    But it is a freaking animal but that will be due to reason that it was built to full race spec by Reyland:

    I'm sure the car has had £50,000 thrown at it during the making

    It's owner used to be Renton at Redline Magazine

    and yes, it should be doable for 10k.

    but a turbo kit is also viable.... for £10k, no problem...
