Oh sorry I jumped ahead just saw you were struggling so did a bit of googling

I know that coilovers improve the handling of a car but how much will they affect comfort? I would like to know when you get yours - I am looking at keeping my car as comforting as possible while enhancing its performance.

TBH I've bought a lot of parts from all over the world before i.e. Japan, Hong Kong and the US (new and second hand) - I've generally been ok as far as import tax goes.. what you will find though is that if Parcel Force get involved then that's when it starts to go tits up..

I did a lot of reading/research before deciding on my set up.. I'm sure I'll be happy with it and it'll be perfectly fine for daily driving..

a few more boxes arrived for me today and were waiting on me when I got in from work.. I now have my Meyle HD control arms (from the US) and the full Powerflex Polybush kit which took about 3-4 weeks to arrive!

Just waiting on end links for the front and back (I forgot about those earlier! LOL! - so have just bought some) and the 15mm TPI spacers for the rear!!.. I also had an email in the week saying that my new wheels will be in the UK by the middle of next week so I should have them end of next week/beginning of the following!! it feels like it's all coming together at last and just in time for summer!!

All suspension parts now arrived - so to recap:

E-Tech front strut brace (already fitted)
    FK Silverline Coilover Plus suspension
    Camber adjustable top mounts (front)
BMW OEM M3 strut reinforcement plates (front)
BMW OEM shock mount gaskets (front)
Meyle Heavy Duty top mounts (rear)
BMW OEM shock reinforcement plates (rear) thanks steve23002!!
BMW OEM shock mount gaskets (rear)
Full Powerflex polybush kit (front and rear)
New sway bar/drop links (front and rear)

With any luck I'll get booked in to be fitted this week depending on how busy the mechanic I use is..

I've also received my hub centric wheel spacers:
    TPI 3mm wheel spacers (front)
TPI 15mm wheel spacers with extended bolts (rear)

The wheels should have arrived in the UK this week - so should hopefully also receive them next week (emailed RimStyle - just waiting on a reply/update) - expect PLENTY of pictures and a review of the setup once fitted!

The Z3 is now in the garage having all it's new shiny bits fitted!

    FK SILVERLINE PLUS COILOVERS:

    FRONT TOP MOUNTS:
I decided to use the OEM M3 strut tower reinforcement plate along with the camber adjustable top mount and also invested in a new gasket:

    REAR TOP MOUNTS:
These are Meyle HD items with the Z3 reinforcement plate and new gasket (exact same as the UUC kit):

    E-TECH STRUT BRACE (already fitted):

As well as new drop links front and back and a full set of powerflex bushes (front and back). I've also just had an email confirming my new wheels will be here tomorrow morning!!

All the suspension gubbins have now been installed.. here's a few ropey pictures I took today when fitting my new wheels (if you look closely enough you can probably make out the Meyle HD control arms, Powerflex arb bush, camber adjustable front top mount and 3mm TPI wheel spacer):

And some pics of the wheels fitted -Beyern Multi 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear with Falken FK452's and lowered on FK Silverline Plus coilovers:
