Looking decent Pangster
Looking very decent, really like the wheels. What's it ride like now??
the ride is very very good.. overall it's a lot smoother than what I was expecting it to be.. its pretty civilised to be honest.. there is very minimal body roll (if any) when cornering and the rear doesn't feel detached from the front (if that makes sense?).. very solid feeling to it and the steering has sharpened up no end.. very good feedback.. doesn't tend to tramline in the ruts in the road either as it did before..
I have a very slight/occasional rub from the rear wheels (when accelerating hard round a corner).. so i might raise it a tad at the back or switch to 10 or 12mm spacers.. but if I'm driving around town in normal conditions there is no rubbing at all.. the shocks/dampers are fixed rate at c30% over stock.. but I'm comparing the ride with a set up which had been on since it left the factory (had 2 leaking shocks - one front and one back and the pigtail had snapped off one of the rear coils! LOL!) - so anything would have been an improvement..
Sounds good, i changed the front camber on mine, so slight negative. Turn in is now extra sharp with loads of grip
update - gave the car a quick wash (it was very quick! LOL! - as I plan on having a monster detailing session next weekend! and don't have too much time today ) - I've now raised the height in the rear and removed the rear 15mm spacers and taken it for a quick drive and there is now no rubbing issues at all... I still need to have it set up and aligned properly - but will arrange to book this over the next week or so.. so thought I'd add some more pics! (let the pic whoring commence...)
