BMW F series (Fxx)car tuning new cars warranty warning

There will be many company's now or in next few months tuning these Ecus on the bench (and damaging the diesel Ecus)
or drilling a hole in the new M3 and M4 ecu as these are sealed and glued (this means the ecu needs to be remove opened or they will drill a hole in the ecu case to get to the internal pins)
So they can get to the in side of the ecu to the boot or rest time clock in the ecu so they can then upload the new tuned file
THIS WILL VOID YOUR BMW WARRANTY 100% IF YOUR ECU IS REMOVED

How do I know all this
I've spent the last 2-3 years testing these boot tools and then using the BMW system to test if it picks it up
And then finding a ways to reprogram the ecu to remove the traces it leaves

BMW knows about the ways these boot tools work and the software in the ecu will flag up its been tuned this way

BMW are looking out for this as they are fed up with people tuning there cars in a bad way which causes problems

then having there tuner put back the ecu to stock when the engine or transmission has a Prolems and claiming on the warranty (which I agree with BMW if you have your car tuned and it damages the drive line due to bad tuning why should BMW fix it)

The only tool I know which does NOT show it's been flashed is our tool which is done by obd so NO need to remove ecu and open or drill to connect get the ecu code from it

We have full control over this obd tool and there is only 5 in the world as we have had the normal people try stealing it
This obd tool is only for the pro tuners who are involved in motorsport tuning not the normal so call tuners that most know about who steal others hard work

If you are getting you Fxx or F series car tuned by a tuner ask what tool they are using and if the ecu will be removed the ecu
If it's being removed then it's will be done by boot mode 1st

If anyone need help on which tool is safe to use feel free to call 02085611818

No offence intended, just my opinion. If you are going to post on a forum you have to expect that. Are you suggesting I do some homework or house work ? Also if you have no time to spend building a web site I am sure you could get someone else to then it would make sense having the link in your signature, looks more professional etc.

I have a question though, surely a "plug and play" second box system which many well known tuners offer, once removed is less easy to detect that a reprogrammed ECU ? Something like this.....

------

"Plug and Play". They are manufactured in using Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) connectors matching those used in the vehicle exactly. The Tuning Boxes simply plug in to the vehicles existing plugs to increase the engines performance and economy No wires to cut, simply plug in and drive keeping your vehicles warranty intact.

------

Also, what gains do you offer for an F30 328 and at what cost ?

Thanks in advance

do you ever get up to the manchester area at all ? i slao go to my work office once a month as well in coventry.

i have a f31 330d that has just come out of warranty so am looking to get it remapped, i know the gains are not massive bhp wise but i know it would be a better all round drive.

you could drop me a pm if you would like with an idea of the price, i've held off as i don't really want my ecu taking out and messing with.

Hi bmw chip tune, I have a 2008 635d sport, toying with the idea of getting a remap or bluefin but worried about the warranty, took out a 3 year warranty when I purchased the car only had it a week and trying to learn ate moment As new to bmw. Would any tuning void my warranty or be traceable, have read your post on the pe7 area.

HI guys,

I have recently bought an ex police, 2017 F11 530d touring, it needed some work so I also did the following mods while i was at it:

Stage 2 Venom Hybrid turbo*
MTX enlarged intercooler
DPF delete
EGR delete
pipercross filter

* Stage 2 Hybrid Spec *
  • Over Sized GT25 Aluminium Billet Hi-flow Compressor Wheel With Extended Tip Height
  • Machined Compressor Housing, Profiled and Polished to Minimum Tolerances for Optimum Flow of The Charged Air
  • Venom Design Over Sized Light Weight Turbine Wheel
  • Uprated 360° thrust kit
  • Twin Step Gapped Performance Shaft Piston Ring
  • Electronic Actuator Overhauled
  • Designed, Machined and Assembled in House
  • Fully Balanced On Our Vibration Sort Rig
  • Calibrated to Track Specification
Claimed Power Output Circa 450BHP

I am looking for 420+ BHP and 750 Nm torque, can anyoine recommend a decent BMW specialist to do a custom map with a rolling road in the North? Also what other mods if any would I need to achive my goal of 420+ BHP and 750 Nm torque?

Cheers

Dan
