    I have my 530d remapped and dpf removed it is an 05 plate havnt had it rolling road tested yet so not sure of what power output I am at but I have heard of people also plugging in a tuning box ontop of a remap for extra power is this true? Thanks

    A tuning box will add more fuel pressure and give you more on top of a remap
    But it not the right thing to do as it may put more strain on your pump

    sounds like a very bad idea...had my 530d 218bhp mapped the other week and after some top gear style testing 0-60 went from 7.4 to 5.9 no idea what bhp its running now after.jpgbefore.jpg

    Ok thanks for the info bwchiptune, can I ask bhzmac1 how you tested your 0-60 stopwatch or a better method? Only so I would like to test mine cheers

    The screen shots are from a app called torque pro, connects my phone to the car via a blue tooth OBD2 adapter, you can read live data basic fault codes and do loads of speed tests. the app is about £2.50 and the adapter is £10 from ebay...but the 0-60 times use GPS signal for the speed so I guess you can just find a app that does just that side of it
