    Here is the result of a bit of fettling with my 1994 525i.
    Engine tuning includes 19lb Injectors, Performance Chip, custom CAI, adjustable fpr, 255lph fuel pump.
    Results are 208bhp and 205lb torque.





    Not a bad increase in my books. Next up will be the turbo charging her.

    Does it feel a lot quicker than stock?
    ALso, you ought to get a heatshield made for that cone filter...would definately make a difference...as Ive BTDT!

    Feels like much more low down torque than before.
    If you look at the cone filter, there is a stainless heat shield with a thermal matt on the radiator side. This boxes off the cone completely when the bonnet is shut so only cool air gets to it and no nasty warm engine air can.

    I mocked it up myself, needs a bit of fettling to neaten it up but does the job.

    I'm certainly looking forward to turbo charging her!
