Hi looking for abit of advice, I recently had my bmw 330 cd e46 reaped, 300 miles later car has started vibrating when you floor it, think its the DMF
    (DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL)
Clutch has started slipping aswell now and vibration has stopped,
Do they do a solid flywheel kit, has any body had this or done this??
Or do I need to just fit new dual mass and clutch, worried torque is just going to brake it again.

Yes, that sounds like the DMF is struggling to handle excessive torque, or you are in too high a gear for smooth acceleration.
There might be some solid flywheel kits, but a good OEM one and less torque would be better overall.

It might be wise to have it turned down a bit if it is too high.

a solid a flywheel yal need false teeth cos all yours will be shattered due the brutality of the torque pulse...clutch will prolly be fried and goosed if it was vibrating beforehand (springs bottoming out on the DMF) the entire peak torque savagery has gone thru the clutchplate instead of the DMF absorbing it..

as above unless ya turn it down ya just gonna fry everythng your prolly gonna have to replace eventually...a solid flywheel will just shake and pummell you and the car to bits...
330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

Updated clutch and flywheel would be best

Hate this.. We still this all the time.. A car is mapped and not to milage and spec.. Sounds as above it could be to much for the stock parts..
    Thanks Mike
