This is a question that has been posted many times, but i have a few other questions relating to increasing my e36 318is engine power.
I have been intending to do an 2.8 engine conversion for a while now, but i thought i had better check with the insurnace company, but "Disaster" they wont insure me with a 2.8 engine in my car until 2010!!
So as i stuck with the 4 pot for a while, is there much more bhp to get. At the mo it has:
Powerflow exhaust with decat
Pipercross induction kit (soon to be replaced with a panel filter)
Finance providing i am getting the car remapped next month by emaps so the power should be up, but is there much else i can do ?, cams maybe?
Is it worth spending money on my engine or do i buy a 2.8 lump and spend the money on that instead to increase thats performance and then fit in 2010!!
Oh and i have adopted a wise bit of A20 rym's thoughts here (cheers rym), i dont want to buy a car with a bigger engine in because i have spend lots of money on mine and dont want to do it all again
Any advice much appreciated
