    Hi all,
Hopefully some one can help, can I back up my DDE and if so can I use winKFP. I would like a complete clone of the ecu if possible but not to sure how to do this. Any pointers, tips or advice are gratefully received.

No easy way of doing it without opening it up, and if it's a 177bhp, you wouldn't be able to make a full backup either, but WinKFP is the kind of thing you'd use if you did have problems to restore it.

You'd need to open it up and use a BDM, which are about a grand or so.

Even open the ECUs can be a risk, hence there isn't really a simple option for you.
