    Hello all,

I will probably be hated for asking as many others have probably asked but here it goes.

Is it true that an after market exhaust will cause the engine to lose power due to reduced back pressure? Also I am aware that super sprint do dyno'd exhaust systems but these are way above my budget (around £1200!).

Is there a cheaper alternative? I take it you need a remap with these new exhaust systems.

Is deleting the muffler a more sensible solution for a bit of a growl? I'm looking for sound really; I thought the 330ci was a bit quiet really and would like to hear a bit more of an exhaust note without compromising performance.

    Thanks in advance
    Ryan

if you go for a realy big bore then youll loose back pressure, a 2 inch pipe will be alright. the cheap way would be take out the silencers and youll get the growl from the 6 cylinders and wont loose power. hope that helps mate.
