    Hi , this is the first thread i have done . im new to bmw's ive had a few cars the last one was a leon cupra r but thanks to the goverment i decided to get something ecanomical with plenty of power and i am verry pleased with it for a diesel but does any one know how to bet the best bhp without going over the top , im planning on intercooler and re-map atleast maybe stage 2 i would like it on a switch (im told this can be done ??) . so whats the best map , intercooler .. combination ??

    Any Help ????

    Intercooler- don't go too big, but have a look and see what is available.
    You won't need to spend too much, the standard design is OK but not exactly amazing, but most aftermarket ones are all pretty similar.
    ie, the expensive ones aren't going to be too different from an ebay one.


    I don't think there is any switching possible on them though, you might have been hearing about a bluefin type box which allows you to swap between maps but it will take 15 mins or so to swap.

    No need for a switch. With a good remap you will get more power along with better MPG.
    We can normally get about 45bhp and 90Nm torque along with a 3-4mpg saving. So it's all in one remap.
    Obviously as your in the midlands, you'll probably want to use someone close to you, so give Enda a call or if you want to travel further then give myself a shout.
