    hi

took my car for the swirl flaps to be removed, the garage tried to sell me a ecu re-map whilst i sat waiting, he quoted me 450 quid and said this was the best gear around for the bmw car, i did mention that there is a guy on here that does re-mapping for 250 and he said oh thats ok but is it the proper software that is being used ?? this got me thinking , is there a good re-map and a bad re-map ?? if so how do you know who to trust ??

    can anyone help me please

    To Motechmike,
    I've got a 330d sport - 2003 - 204bhp one.
Your website says the bhp goes from 204 up to 234bhp.
    Upsolute.com say the same figures.
How come some companies quote 250 / 248 etc... ?
    (DMS quote 260 odd)
Do they exagerate it to make people think they are getting more BHP for their money ?
or do they just tweak it a bit further ?

Our site is a little of date.. Even the power figers..

We have seen on good tuning we can get over the 250hp , But your putting a lot more stress though thights that are getting a bit old...

A good 240-245hp will be on the new site.

    Mike
    Thanks Mike
