    Hi RobertB... I have a bigger intercooler yes. It is a must for bigger gains, the stock one is piddly! I had her on the running road a while ago now, But I have an issue with my cylinder head. I'm not happy pushing her too far until I get it sorted. It has worked out far cheaper to buy a second hand head, recondition it myself, then fit it, than it was to buy a reconditioned head. It's probably nothing but I have to know the engine is 100% before i go beyong the 250bhp mark. The bottom end I know is perfect.. I built it and I have only done 30k miles since with it being looked after all the way.

    Did u hawe to go whit bigger injectors on that one?

    hwo sells bigger hybrid turbos and new plug and play maps for the 530d e60 m57 engines?

    Hi, yes I sourced some new nozzles and fitted them to the existing injectors.

    There are a few tuners in this forum, if you go to the front page there is a whole section.

    A quick follow up on my experiences. I have an issue with my current engine, hence me building a new one. I don't strictly have to but I want everything to be perfect! I have also come across hardware and software at a very reasonable price that allows me to read/write to my ecu via a laptop and OBD port. So I have invested in that and I'm currently looking for some software to edit the map.

    Turbo still going well after 10k miles!

    What car did you say that you have dead_valentine(too lazy and sleepy now to read all posts again ) ? 136 or CR 150 ? Use MPPS cable V13, with WinOLS software. By passing some time i have lessons learned now, i tuned myself my car at arounc 170 bhp and without any CAT, car works great, no smoke, start of injection optimized(its a good idea for nice power increases). I have tons of logs with testo on fuel IQ, maf and turbo pressure, everything stable now after some weeks with overboost/spikes with no CAT.
    I quit addictions for my 'girl' from BMW

    Hi, yes its the 150bhp, would you care to help me with finding offsets and anything else you think may be of use? I am finding it really difficult finding maps, their functions etc. I have winOLS but as it is only the demonstration model I don't have the ability to save the new BIN file. Do you know of any software that I can use to do this?

    I can send you my car's file if thats easier. you could map it to a similar level so i could use it for comparison. I will inbox you now.

    Full power Finally i managed to fix my VNT..i had strong uncontrollable overboost because VNT actuator didnt retract/open when spikes were detected after remapping the turbo pressure map.
    I put a spring on actuator rod to fully open forced the vanes, instantly, now everything works awesome, pressure is in track as requested..just little spikes in 2nd gear..but i dont push it to metal in 2nd gear anyway.

    my turbo went last night & was looking at them on fleabay nkkturbo's good price but as all things on fleabay you just don't know what it's like but if you say your one was good i might send off for one today thank you this has made my mind up
