if you could find the thread that would be great ive had a another look and seem to find the same gthing which is the actual conversion and info on bhp figures or others asking about m50 manifolds

    spejtim you have pm pal
If you are being serious about a turbo in future then look at the MLS headgaskets and arp performance studs (ebay USA).

Means that the engine will be one step closer to being ready for a turbo. If your gonna change the headgasket and so on you may aswell get it done.

The head would have to be professionally done, IMO, it wouldn't be a DIY job. So I reckon you should google some companies who do this type of work. I can't recommend any, as I haven't used any yet, although I'm thinking about it, sometime in the future.

Basically, you'll get better flow for intake and exhaust which (combined with the other mods) will squeeze some extra power. Apart from polishing and boring the intake and exhaust ports, you could also replace the valve springs, especially if you planning on using some hot cams. Uprated springs should make a difference, in higher RPM's.
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

well im pondering the m3 cam option just looking abit more in depth to.
looked into the crank side but i realy dont want to be stripping it down fully to change pistons and rods think this ones going to have the m50 bbtb and a decat with a remap to drag the best of the mods then see how i feel with that kind of power gains. see how she drives round town befor heading down to cams as ide rather have a pro do that work. with the bidywork and engine going to take funds think the cams can wait as ive heard there not cheap to have done or buy if you can find them

thanks for all your input though mate top man
