Hi, I'm preparing a 325i Auto for short circuit oval racing. I'd like any thought on quick tweaks I can use to get as much raw power. I'm rather unfamiliar with autos & my friend mentioned a kickdown cable that can be removed, also is there a way to remove ASC?

    Thanks
    Luke

Not too sure on the kickdown cable, but I believe the ASC (traction controll - effectively) can be shut off from inside the car. Below your stereo and in front of your gear stick you will see the ASC button. Just press it and an orange light will light up on your dashboard to notify its off.

Some 325's (may be the later ones) are fitted with DSC, and to shut that off you hold down the button for about 5 seconds and two lights will show up on your dash.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for the info
About that button... & the dashboard, they were last seen flying into the local tip! I'm thinking along the lines; if it isn't essential or connected to something that is, remove it!
