Had a response from a tuner down south eco vehicle tuning.
I said I don't fancy having the car running on its limit but I would like a performance map over an economy one.
He said "the 150 has excellent gains within safe limits developed 216hp from 150hp and 311ft/lbs. from 243ft/lbs. of torque.
This is the best performance and economy map from Celtic tuning who I am in sole agreement with and benefits from the best of both worlds (power economy and throttle response).
Although not your preference there is another map for the 150 bringing it to 180hp and 279ft/lbs. of torque. which is more a guarantee fro the economy simply restricting that extra power which could see fuel gains drop dramatically - but as said the 216 development will be the best of both worlds."
Price for the mobile map is a good £250 but I am just worried about that 216hp being a little too much for my car with 117k miles.
The car also has a de-cat of which I have told him about.
What do you guys think. I live in Portsmouth and don't fancy traveling too far.
