m42 is a strong engine takes a lot of boost (compared to other stock engines) with its forged pistons crankshaft conrods. So go for the real turbo project spend approx £3000-4000 and it will be around 300bhp ish

i read in chav power once when these things first cropped up that with it it fitted and running you lost a little bit of power and was better to have it fitted and not running hahaha but best performance was to just not put the damned thing in there in the first place

I was of the understanding that taking the spare out of a BMW f***s the 50/50 weight ratio and therfore your handling. Am I wrong? :

Speaking from experience, a 320 is radically slower than a 328. I agree with those suggesting just buying a car with a bigger engine. It'd cost thousands to get the performance up to what the big engines achieve as standard.
