hi guys i am looking to chip my car for better mpg this is the the main reason i want one, is this true that these chips save fuel? i have hear about more power which i am not to fussed about sure it will be great but i really want to save money on fuel and not risk damaging my engine as i couldn't afford to replace the engine, is the dinan chip the way to go?

I don't think Dinan will be able to do anything for you.
You won't be able to replace the chip as your ECU is too new for that. You would need to have your ECU remapped instead.
MPG increases are small if any. Sometimes people have reported gains, but nothing that would make a big difference.

Only a mix of a few things, higher tyre pressures, less weight, clean filters, and being very gentle with the pedal.
The unfortunate bit is it can be a bit of a drain to be driving as carefully as possible for ages.

By the time you spend any kind of money on kit to save fuel costs it will take you a lifetime to re-coop the outlay. Service your car as usual and don't be fooled into gimmicky fuel saving claims that invariably do more harm than good. Changing driving style is the most immediate and effective way by far to save wonga. It's a pain in the ass but we all suffer with it too!
