Apart from the obvious difference in BHP/Torque, are there any other major differences between the 318D &320d, Turbos/ Brakes etc, that would have to be taken into consideration when thinking about remapping a 318D, have been Quoted an increase of around 43 bhp on a remap for a 318D LCI 2011

    Cheers

We see 43hp and 90nms (£240) The 318ds responded will to mapping good gain in power and MPG.. Any good STG1 map will be fine for a car running stock parts.. No need to upgrade unless there old and need replacing etc..

    Thanks
    Thanks Mike

I have a feeling the 118d has a wastegated turbo, and the 120d has a VNC vane turbo.
They still do the same thing, but with different methods of slowing the turbo from overboosting.
