Hey guys I am going to be getting a 330d 184ps (204 out of my price range) and I was wondering what it would take to squeeze 300hp out of it. Would a remap with 335d injectors work or is a turbo upgrade needed as well? And if so, what kind of turbo?

    Thanks

I think you are asking for disaster there - that's too much power....

have a read here, these chaps took a 204 to 300 for the gumball. Turbo, injectors, exhaust, large FMIC, remap and paddle clutch. By the time youve taken the cost of all that into account you may aswell save up for the 204. I would never take one to that much power aswell, just asking fro problems. The torque would eventually destroy the drivetrain.

Remap would get you to about 215-220 on a 184bhp 330d.

From there your going to need to spend big money, which surely makes the whole thing pointless when you could put the extra money towards a newer 330d with 204bhp standard?

it is possible to get 300hp from 204 engine and more but from yours will be a bit more expensive i think but read this:

While it's possibly possible, I wouldn't want to do it myself.

Immo runs 240, being a 204 originally and that is more than enough IMO!

If I was you I'd save for the 204, mostly for the 6 speed box (if manual) and if you still need more horses go for a milder remap.

I'd suggest saving the extra cash and getting the 204bhp option

ok definatley alot harder than I thought then... What would just an intercooler, remap, turboback exhaust, and possibly 335 injectors get me?

You'd probably get 240 from that little lot.. then add the cost of a paddle clutch which you will need in no time..

Or buy the 204bhp version and simply remap it??????
