Just gauging interest in a group remap in the Cambridgeshire area. Who'd be up for this? Details to follow depending on interest.

    Ridgy, sorry, can't condone this.

We have forum vendors who sponsor this site who offer advantageous prices for forum members. Please see the home page for details on Emaps, ABTuning and Motech.

    Confused

I'm not doing the remap. This would indeed be by a forum sponsor as it transpires, wasn't sure If I could mention them in the original post. This is just to get a feel for interested numbers.

What's the correct way to go about this?

    Ah, okay. My apologies.

The vendor would need to run it past Boostist on here via PM, and then post up a thread such as you have started to gauge interest.

Look forward to hearing what you think of the map when you have it done too

Looking forward to it Mark. To be honest I had reservations about doing this, I don't normally 'tinker' with my cars. I kept both my previous BMW's completely stock. The improved fuel economy is attractive as I commute 70 miles a day now to work, although playing with all that extra power will probably negate any fuel gains!

Ridgy, I had only ever tinkered with bikes, scared to play with cars too much. I had my Fiat re-mapped to cure the flat spots, then the BMW, then the wife's Golf. You could say I am a convert. I am sure you will be pleased, fuel wise, you should be fine, I hardly notice any difference unless I play hooligan.
