    Hi all,
Am looking for some advice regarding remapping my car bmw x3 3.0sd msport. I have seen a lot about other models being remapped but not mine. I would like to know if anyone has remap this model and what are the benefits. Also am more intersted in economy wise. I do a lot of short run and recently seen a fall of MPG,getting about 28-29 MPG at present.

    Any advice is highly appreciated.

It's a rarer car, but the same engine as the 335d
Only the X6 managed to get the mytical "5" into the name (Xdrive 35D) of the X series.

Have a look for fault codes if there has been a recent drop in MPGs, possibly the DPF needs a run to clear it out, or the EGR is getting gummed up.

Check the items that Enda has said and give the car a good run on the motorway. If your MPG has then returned to what it should be then you will be ok to then look at having it remapped. What year is your car? It may be possible that your car cannot actually be remapped as of YET. It may be worth calling my mate Jason on 07831 103030 & let him know I sent you to him.

As it's a 2005 model there shouldn't be any problem in remapping it.
